MASALA TEA

               Tea also known as Chai..... when it comes to Tea it has many types... Black tea, Green tea, Masala tea, Ginger tea, Lemon tea, Cardamom tea, light or strong tea, even Chocolate tea... And why it's so because ....it gives us a fresh and aromatic taste in each sip we have... It releases our mood... And keeps us energetic... 
                 In rainy season if you have a tea and Vada; then nothing else is needed... it's more than enough to enjoy and indulge yourself in it and get refreshed.....Lets start our Tea..... 



Ingredients 

Milk - 210ml
Water - 1/2 cup 
Tea powder - 1 tbsp
Cardamom - 2
Cinnamon sticks - 1 small piece
Bay leaf - 1/2 
Ginger - 1 small piece 
Sugar - 1 tbsp or as per your required 

Method of preparation 
  • Take 1/2 cup of water in a milk-pan and allow it to boil...
  • Now take a pestle and put some bay leaf, cardamom, Cinnamon, ginger into it and crush it....Then add this into the boiling water... 
  • Now boiling water turns aromatic.... in  this stage ; add tea powder... 
  • Let it boil for 2-3 minutes and thus the colour of water changes to transparent brown in colour. 
  • Now add sugar and milk.                                                                                                  
  • Let it boil again for 2-3 minutes in high flame and 2-3 minutes in low flame so the tea gets blend well with the milk.
  •   Now when the perfect tea colour is reached then turn off our stove, remove pan from flame .
  • Then filter our Tea....
  • Now our masala tea is ready........ 

Tip

  • Serve hot with biscuits, vada or any snacks you like......
